We have a continuous deployment setup and our build runs at noon everyday. We do demos on Friday and we want the deployment to not run on Friday in case it fails and we can't demo. Is there a way to conditionally set the automatic deployment to not run on a day/time. We still want the build to run we just want to manually deploy it after the demo.

    Hi Travis,

Thanks for getting in touch! I'm assuming you are using Automatic Release Creation (ARC) feature. If that's the case then unfortunately we don't have anything in Octopus right now that would solve your problem. The only option is to to disable ARC before Friday demo and then enable it back after the demo is finished. You could also try to disable/enable the whole project.

That being said we are working right now on a new feature called Scheduled Recurring Deployments that might provide a much better solution in the future.

Please let me know how you go.

    Regards,

    Pawel
