I think I was not clear about my query.
I would like a run a script on a machine.
The script installs windows updates on a machine, let’s assume there are 4 Windows KBs to be installed, the first KB needs to reboot the machine, after the reboot the script continues where it left for a reboot and installs the second KB the third KB and the fourth KB then reboots the machine and then show the task as completed in Octopus.
I do not think the article that you sent convers this scenario, Let me know If you need to know anything more.

Thanks for getting back to me regarding this,
Apologies, I misunderstood your original request.
At this stage, there doesn't exist an option to continue a script post-restart.
This does, however, sound like a great idea to make Octopus even better!
