HI
We are running tentacle on windows 2012 r2 using MSA account.
we followed the instructions in the following link
https://octopus.com/docs/infrastructure/windows-targets

we run into an issue when trying to update the tentacle version , it seems that the account lacks the required privileges
We had to grant the MSA login local admin privileges.
Can u tell us what are the required privileges that will allow tentacle upgrades ?

    Hi,

Thanks for getting in touch! When running the Tentacle service under an MSA you will need to ensure the account has permissions to install MSI packages. The account should not require full local administrator permissions for the server though it does make things easier.

Could you try giving this account access to install MSI's and let me know if it now works as expected?

Looking forward to hearing from you. :)

    Best regards,
    Daniel
