I have a certificate stored in Octopus that I manage. I'm trying to export this certificate as a pfx. When I do this, I choose pfx (not original format), I have the option to enter a password. It doesn't matter what password I enter (even leaving it blank) I am unable to import the downloaded pfx. What am I missing?

    Hi Simon,

We sincerely apologize. It seems this is due to a bug we introduced recently causing the password to be incorrectly sent to the server.

I have raised an issue (and committed a fix) for this. This will be shipped in our next release which should be available early next week.

In my testing, when entering no password the downloaded certificate could be imported (by entering no password when importing).

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.

    Regards,
    Michael

Thanks for your help. Without a password must have been the 1 combination I didn't try.

Also, can I say it's pretty cool seeing the issue on Github linked back to this message.

    Simon
