Hi i am trying to determine if i can upgrade from version to version 3.x. If so what are the gotchas, and things to watch out for and possible a guide i have found the upgrade to 3.x from 2.6 but wasn't sure if that would work. Any help would be great.

    Hi dtibbe

Thanks for keeping in touch, upgrading to 3.x is only possible from Octopus 2.6; if you're running a previous version of Octopus, just upgrade to first 2.6, then upgrade to 3.x.

You can find more information about upgrade from 2.0 from this link https://octopus.com/docs/administration/upgrading/upgrading-from-oc...

Once you have upgraded to 2.6, you can find more information about upgrading to 3.x from this link https://octopus.com/docs/administration/upgrading/upgrading-from-oc...

The migration process might take long depends on the amount of data you have, please consider to apply retention policy to clean up some data.

    Hope that helps
