Hi Team,

I am getting below error while try to do deploy auto push package from teamcity.

Unable to trigger deployment for project '2017.0' release 2017.0.63 to environment QA: There are no steps to run when deploying releases of 2017.0 in the QA channel to the QA environment. This can happen if your deployment process is empty, or review the filters applied to the steps in your deployment process.
Once you have corrected these problems you can try again.
If the problem is related to a variable you will need to update the variables for this release or recreate the release for the changes to take effect.
If the problem is related to the deployment process you will need to create a new release for the changes to take effect.

    Hi,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

Can you manually deploy release 2017.0.63 in the QA channel to the QA environment? Would it be possible to send a screenshot of your deployment process? Do auto deploys on package push work for other channels/environments?

    Look forward to learning more.

    Cheers,
    Shane

    Thanks Shane.

    Please check my comment.

Can you manually deploy release 2017.0.63 in the QA channel?

Yes I am able to manually deploy release 2017.0.63 in the QA channel

Do auto deploys on package push work for other channels/environments?

    No it is not working.

Basically in current scenario packages pushed by teamcity and release also automatically gets created but not able to deploy.
Please help us to move further.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hi Hrishikesh,

It looks like you are trying to automatically deploy to all of the tenants in your QA environment? Auto deploy to tenants was overlooked when the tenants feature was created, there is an open issue to address this:

    https://github.com/OctopusDeploy/Issues/issues/2672

The workaround at the moment is to use tooling instead of the auto deploy feature to achieve this. The Octopus TeamCity plugin can create a release and deploy it to all of your tenants. There is help here if you are not already familiar with it: https://octopus.com/docs/api-and-integration/teamcity#TeamCity-Trig...

    I hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Shane

    Hi Hrishikesh,

Are you able to use the TeamCity plugin to perform the deployments? Do you need help with anything?

    Cheers,
    Shane
